Booka Shade, Fedde Le Grand and Westbam will play this year's Love Parade in Essen in August.
The three acts join Bad Boy Bill, Chris Liebing, Monika Kruse, Octave One and ATB as some of the first names confirmed to play the transplanted event. This year's fest will be the first Love Parade in Germany to be held outside of Berlin. Besides the street party on the Saturday, organisers are also planning a series of official nights at clubs around the city from Thursday to Sunday as part of a new extended Love Weekend.
Two weeks ago, officials from the Ruhr Metropolitan Area granted Love Parade organisers permission to hold the street rave in various cities in the region over the next five years. The 2007 event in Essen will be followed by successive parades in Dortmund, Bochum, Duisburg and Gelsenkirchen.
The Love Parade happens in Essen on Saturday, August 25, 2007.
