- Turnmills sees in the smoking ban with 'Up In Smoke' at Together this Saturday. Joining forces will be a mix of Together denizens and newer faces offering house, techno, hip hop plus some live beatboxing from the internet star and UK Beatboxing Champion Beardyman. Room One will concentrate on house courtesy of Tom Middleton, Abe Duque, Anil Chawla and a rare solo DJ set from Groove Armada's Tom Findlay, fresh off the back of their latest album, ‘Soundboy Rock’. Room Two will take things to a slightly more techy level what with FC Kahuna, Danny Clark, Guy Williams, Bones and of course long-standing Together resident Justin Robertson. In Room Three, you can catch 'Middleton's Monster Mash-Up', which promises to blend hip hop, breaks, house and the likes from Mr. Middleton himself, Beardyman and more. To acknowledge the more historic aspect of this date the top floor will be transformed into the Together Smoking Lounge, with the Together All-Stars spinning '80s pop, funk, soul, TV themes and more. Naturally this night would not be complete without a hommage to one of TV's most iconic smokers and soap-land's best dressed, Dot Cotton – guests are expected to don their best cool old lady garments and/or smoking jackets! Together takes place at Turnmills on Saturday, June 30, 2007.
