More names added to South West Four

  • Martin Buttrich, Thomas Schumacher and Josh Wink are some of the latest additions to South West Four festival happening August in London and Cardiff. Buttrich and Schumacher will play in the newly-added Ibizan Underground Arena hosted by the website Ibiza Voice. Old hands of the German dance scene, both featured in RA's Top 30 tracks of 2006: Buttrich took the #1 crown with 'Full Clip' while Schumacher weighed in at #8 with 'Rotor'. Joining the two Germans at SW4 will be Buttrich's old studio partner Timo Maas, progressive mainstays Steve Lawler and Pete Gooding as well as Aaron Baskerville. Other additions to the bill include acid techno pioneer Josh Wink in the Bedrock International Arena and pop-house act Shapeshifters, who'll preview material from their forthcoming second album live on the main outdoor stage. South West Four is an outdoor dance event in London and Cardiff which brings together some of the biggest names in progressive house, trance, house, techno and breaks. This year's headliners include Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Roger Sanchez and John Digweed. Check RA's previous coverage for who else is on the bill.
