- Damian Lazarus and Michael Mayer’s free monthly party winds up next Monday with an all-day blowout featuring Superpitcher, Shackleton, Roman Flugel and more. The idea for Stink was cooked up by Mayer and Lazarus after the pair let themselves go at impromptu Ibiza afterparty in 2005, thus the 'Stink' moniker. Over the past two years, just about everyone connected with minimal house has played the party, but sadly, Lazarus has decided to wind the event up. "At the last bank holiday alldayer, I made a spur of the moment decision to make the next party the last one,” the Crosstown Rebels boss told RA. “The atmosphere and unparalleled dirtiness at Stink has become a legend in our view and it feels right to close this chapter of our lives on an enormous high.” Next Monday’s Bank Holiday all-dayer promises to be a big one, with Damian Lazarus, Matthew Styles, Kiki & Silversurfer and Jamie Jones representing Crosstown, Superpitcher playing for Kompakt and Roman Flügel and dubstepper Shackleton in to referee. There’s also the promise of special unannounced guests so keep your wits about you. "The final line up on May 7th is more of a festival than a free monthly party,” explains Lazarus. “I hope that we will make this day a very special one.” ’Stink Bank Holiday Alldayer’ happens at the T-Bar on Monday, May 7th from midday to 3 a.m.
