- M_nus announce a 'best of' compilation. ‘Nothing Much’ comes backed with the label mix from Troy Pierce.
Richie Hawtin’s minimal techno label is readying the release of a ‘best of’ compilation. The 2xCD set arrives as an eleven-track compilation humbly titled ‘Nothing Much’ and a bonus M_nus set titled ‘Something More’, which is mixed by Troy Pierce.
The ‘best of’ CD dips into a selection of the biggest M_nus tracks, including ‘Seeing Through Shadows’, ‘Egress’, ’25 Bitches’ ‘Baby Kate’, ‘Bay of Figs’, ‘The Tunnel’ and ‘Decompression’. The CD also includes newer cuts from Matthew Dear under his False moniker, Ambivalent and Skoozbot, who hands in a remix track from the new JPLS album. The selection was made by Richie Hawtin and Clark Warner.
On the bonus disc, Troy Pierce selects twenty-five cuts from the M_nus catalogue, including plenty of new Heartthrob remixes and an unreleased Heartthrob reworking of Pierce’s ‘Horse Nation’.

‘Nothing Much + Something More’ will be released on M_nus on June 1st, 2007.
