Brothers Ali and Basti release a 2CD compilation celebrating ten years in the business. ’10 Years of Tiefschwarz’ will be released in May.
Ali and Basti Schwarz first came to international attention in 2004 at the start of the electrohouse boom, but nowadays their signature blend of house, techno and bass-heavy electrohouse is one of Europe’s biggest DJ draws. To celebrate their place at the top of the heap, Tiefschwarz are releasing a new 2CD mix and remix set in May. The concept of the first CD is to showcase some of Ali and Basti's influences, which range from Frankie Knuckles to Ron Trent to Marianne Faithfull. The second CD is a new selection of Tiefschwarz tracks remixed by the likes of Radio Slave, Matias Aguayo, Shonky, Samim and Kiki.
Souvenir will also release a special vinyl remix package in June with new Tiefschwarz remixes by Carl Craig and Radio Slave.
