  • German indie label Compost Records celebrates its 250th release with a new label compilation. ‘Freshly Composted Vol. 2’ is out now. Founded in 1994, Compost has its roots in house and future jazz, and its latest compilation continues with the vibe, promising a diverse mixture of “disco, house, techno, soul, jazz, a little bit of pop and cosmic”, according to the press notes. The compilation also includes a cut from the new Ben Mono album due for release in early spring, while six of the tracks were previously only available on 12“ vinyl, including remixes by Carl Craig, Moodymann, Todd Terje and Robag Wruhme. ‘Freshly Composted Vol. 2’ tracklist 01.
