  • Sharam from Deep Dish and new Yoshitoshi cutie Miss Nine play dates in Dublin and Galway this Bank Holiday weekend. Sharam is the bearded half of Deep Dish, the prog house duo whose debut album 'Junk Science', label Yoshitoshi and Global Underground albums GU21 and GU25 earmarked them as America's biggest progressive house act. Second album 'George is On' produced big radio-friendly singles with eighties references such as 'Flashdance' and 'Dreams'. But after touring the album together, members Sharam and Dubfire have decided to temporarily focus on their individual DJing and production. Sharam has been first out of the gate, recently dropping the WMC 2006 hit 'P.A.T.T', which samples the Eddie Murphy's eighties hit 'Party all the Time', and the latest Global Underground mix CD 'GU 29: Dubai'. Sharam will play in Ireland this weekend with latest Yoshitoshi signing Miss Nine who recently compiled the label's latest comp 'Yoshitoshi Ibiza'. Originally from Germany but based in Amsterdam, Miss Nine also produces with Dutch proggers 16BitLolitas. Sharam and Miss Nine play Club Q in Galway on Friday, October 27, 2006 and Tripod in Dublin on Sunday, October 29, 2006.
