This week Anthony and Luca from Audiofly look down the barrel of the gun and give up the loot.
Audiofly are the DJ/production team of Luca Saporito and Anthony Middleton. The London duo have had releases on Rui da Silva's 64 imprint, Saw, Mobilee and Kickboxer with future cuts destined for new Get Physical offshoot Kindisch and Radio Slave's Rekids output. Fans include Tiefschwarz and RA podcast pick Ewan Pearson who in his latest blog says, "I have been playing an embarassing amount of their music in my sets this year, and when it's all this good who can blame me?"
The pair also have a knack for finding pretty girls to work with in the studio. They record as Sleeper Thief with Miss Jools, as Loose Lips with Scarlett Etienne and as Rekleiner with Stuart Geddes. But Stuart isn't pretty.
Anthony and Luca are a real team. They usually DJ one-on-one off together except for crucial tequila missions to the bar or pit stops at the loo. Next month, they release their debut compilation 'Undulation 2' on Saw which has tracks by Martin Buttrich, Layo & Bushwacka, X-Press 2 and Stephan Bodzin.
RA busted our way into the Audiofly studio. Luca rummaged through their record boxes while Anthony did the talking. They begged us to give them ten minutes extra thinking time so we let them have it, but only because Luca wrote down the names of the records with tricky spelling.
