  • John Digweed's Bedrock club night returns to Heaven in London next Thursday for its annual bash. To celebrate, RA is giving away the entire Bedrock back catalogue, including a signed copy of Digweed's 'Warung Beach'. Bedrock and John Digweed are regarded as pillars of progressive house, but these days you're just as likely to hear Buttrich, Bodzin and Booka as straight-up prog in a Digweed set. This year the label has also ventured away from the sound which made Diggers famous with releases from Misstress Barbara and On Spec (aka Guy Gerber) bridging the gap between progressive and techno, while Digweed's own 'Warung Beach' steered more into electrohouse waters. As Bedrock has matured, its London club nights have become few and far between, but the faithful will be psyched to see both the night and Digweed returning to Heaven next Thursday. For the anniversary gig, Digweed will spin an extended set that will also be his final London appearance of the year. Support on the night will come from Proton Radio's Neil Quigley. Advance tickets are £10 plus booking fee. But dress unambiguously as tickets will be sold on a strict non-transferable basis to exactly 450 boys and 450 girls. To celebrate the Bedrock anniversary, RA is giving one reader the chance to win the complete Bedrock catalogue which includes approximately seventy 12" singles and ten CD compilations. The winner will also receive a signed copy of Digweed's electrohouse single 'Warung Beach'. Click here to enter the competition. Bedrock's Anniversary with John Digweed and Neil Quigley takes place Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Heaven, London.
