  • Cocoon, Sven Vath's Frankfurt techno brand that juggles both a popular sheen and an underground edge, will soon mark its second London excursion with an unmissable all-star lineup. Cocoon has built its reputation on the success of their Frankfurt venue and six sensational summer seasons in Ibiza. Their Monday night parties at Amnesia have attracted an enormous and fiercely loyal following across Europe. Proactively pushing minimal techno before the bandwagon built momentum their nights have attracted global appeal with Sven Vath, at the helm and regular guests including the much-feted Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin and Luciano. Cocoon have previously selected their residencies very carefully in line with their quality reputation. With current residencies including Frankfurt, Ibiza, Madrid and Rotterdam, London was a notable absence, but since their launch in March the gap has been filled. Cocoon has lined up a strong crew at London’s The End for July 8th. Cocoon's second assault on The End includes a mixed main room lineup featuring English wunderkind James Holden, Germany’s Loco Dice and Secretsundaze promoter and resident James Priestley. The lounge boasts an equally impressive cast full of diversity with the other half of Secretsundaze Giles Smith joining Dominik Eulberg and Cocoon favourite Tobi Neumann. The second room will also feature guests Ralph Lawson and residents Luke vB and Tim Red. Many of you will no doubt catch Cocoon in Ibiza this year but for London fans this is a great opportunity to sample the well-documented mayhem.
