  • After two and a half years of dark and dirty Warehouse parties, the At Night crew will poke their head above ground for the first in a series of club events bringing their unique London inspired party offering to JAMM in Brixton. Founder Tom Real explains the reasons for the change in venue and how the ethos will remain the same:
"We initially started At Night as a reaction to the fact London clubland was so dull and promoters often put very little effort into their events so we decided it was time to take the bull by the horns and take clubbing back to its purest form by throwing underground warehouse parties where each aspect of the event was carefully planned giving clubbers an event they could count on and the freedom in their space to do as they pleased. Since we began At Night, London has become saturated with ‘warehouse’ parties therefore taking the shine off this style of event and this coupled with the fact we want to keep our parties moving forward we decided the next logical step for us was to take our event into a club format, carefully selecting venues that we feel work with the style of party we would like to achieve as well as keeping the same focus on venue, sound, décor, a carefully programmed line up and of course our excellent crowd"
Spread across two rooms the South of the river event will showcase the spectrum of house that is currently captivating clubbers with Room 1: ‘Maximum House’ featuring, ‘four-to-the-floor’ house, electro and breaks with Dave Philips, ‘We Love Sundays At Space’ resident headlining alongside Alex McCulloch of ‘Shafunkers’ fame and of course top drawer residents Tom Real & Cheshire Catz. Room 2 (Minimum House) will focus on the more subtle house sounds with Fabric regular Margaret Dygas (RA Podcast Guest 004) joined by Gavin Herlihy, rising starlet Lil Lucy and Berwick St Records owner Timo Garcia.
