  • They say there's no rest for the wicked and evidently Steve Bug has been up to no good, judging by his upcoming tour dates and release schedule over the next few months. Having released another hip-shaking, carefully-produced minimal outing the 'Smackman EP' in January this year and with a new collaboration with Matthias Tanzmann, the 'Shick'n'Shock EP' and the highly-anticipated second chapter of his 'Bugnology' series forthcoming on Poker Flat, the coming months will also see Steve Bug touring the US and Japan, in between his usual extensive dates in Europe. As part of his U.S tour Steve Bug will play at the Circo Loco and Pawn Shop 101 parties at the Miami WMC as well as dates at New York's Cielo, Paxahau in Detroit, Chicago's Smartbar and Club TC in Philadelphia, before making return appearances at the Real Grooves 11 party at Spacelab Yellow in Tokyo and Rocket in Osaka. In other Poker Flat news, John Tejada, who was also recently featured at Real Grooves 9 in Tokyo, makes a welcome return to the label after the enormous success of 2004's 'Sweat (On The Walls)' with a brand new 12", 'Big City Music' (pkfr68) due for release on February 27, 2006.
