- German duo Moonbootica want nothing to do with Germany's minimal music lovefest. For them it's all about attitude, energy, cocky conviction and a playful mood.
Moonbootica are German party DJs on a mission. Whilst their German DJ contemporaries clung to the whispering overtures of minimalism, glorifying gentle fizzles and clicks as symphonies, Moonbootica went hell for leather as far in the opposite direction as it is possible to go. Their sound is one of unique, booty shakin' music and has seen them tagged as Germany's premier dance export with everyone from fans, critics and record sales proving the statement worthy of backing.
Moonbootica are the duo of musicians and producers KoweSix and tobitob. Their forthcoming Australian tour is in support of their debut album "Moonbootica". The album follows on from their manyf 12 inch release and the "DJ Sounds Good" mix album, as well as remixes of diverse artists as Mousse T, Richard Dorfmeister and Planet Funk.
Dates for Byron Bay and Perth are still to be confirmed but the other four tour dates are shown below. Their show will definately be a night of fun as well as dance music.
