  • Electro-house's production duo's the insignificant Others (AKA Dave Robinson and Nick McCall) are set to have a busy start to the year with the launch of their brand new label ‘iO Music’. A clear example that it will not just be an output for their own studio works they have snapped a little electro gem from King Roc ‘Better Ways’. Many of you may recognized the signature iO sound through their three singles - the debut 'It's Me EP', the funkier 'Milk EP' and 'Use My X' (used by Pete Tong on his Mixmag 'Future Classics Vol 2' cover mount CD). Describing the goal of the ouput its clear that those searching for the net wave of electro goodness should keep an eye on iO Music:
'iO Music' dedicated to putting out the hottest tracks around not only from the lads themselves but artists, both established and up and coming talent that they feel fully represents the insignificant sound.
The first release comes from King Roc 'Better Ways / Locamota’ on the 30th January, 2006. King Roc has been releasing some scorching productions and remixes including his own 'How Big Is It' and remix of 'Salty' by Dylan Rhymes, both on Kingsize Records. With further releases scheduled from Dislodged & Mogul, Insiders and insignificant Others themselves, iO Music looks set to be one of the hottest new electro sources of 2006!
