  • It always a nice feeling dancing for a good cause, and in the New Year The Cross will play host to an unusual and rare event all in the name of charity. The Christmas period is tough on most of us and tougher on the many carers that give up their celebrations in aid of helping others. So in a welcomed display of togetherness clubland has decided to drop the politics and club together to raise money to provide some rest and respite for the kind souls who really deserve it – The Promoters. The night on January 7th, aptly titled ‘Club Together’ will see a host of London’s top promoters from clubs including The Cross, The End, Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Pacha and The Egg don the DJ wig and battle it out. While a few can DJ, most have honed their skills at afterparties, weddings, bar mitzvahs and birthday parties, so the result will be slightly unpredictable. The line-ups will take shape as below: Club Together @ The Cross - Jan 7th Main Arch: Phil Sales, Andy Blackett and Dave Vega (Ministry of Sound) Graham, Ed and Stix (Turnmills) Alistair (Pacha) Ryan (The End) Sammi G and Ramonski (Egg) Kristophe (secretsundaze) Middle Arch: Jason Lorimer (Penge) Rob (Pushca) Krista (Jaded) John (Alist) Johnny Pannel Third Arch: Harvey (Prologue) Richard Newport (Cross Central) Mark (Pukka Up) Nikki Gordon (Neighbourhood) Richard Smith (MUZIK X-PRESS) Lee Freeman and Simon Patterson (DTPM) Rochie (Formula) Gary (Dirty) Expect some unforgettable musical performances from the purveyors of London’s club scene! All proceeds will go to a charity announced on the night.
