  • A few big names have been added to the huge lineup already announced for the 2006 Good Vibrations Festival. The new additions include Andy Caldwell, Freq Nasty and Steve Lawler. Steve Lawler is a perfect addition to the party lineup, and no doubt he'll be packing his old skool piano-house release, "That Sound" on Joia Records, into his record crate as the song was a massive anthem in Europe during the northern summer. Freq Nasty always gets a party rocking and is bound to be well recieved at the outdoors day event. His last trip to Australia showcased his Freq Nasty Video Nasty Experience. Andy Caldwell's addition to the lineup will bring a taste of US West Coast deep house to the party evening out the hip hop, breaks, drum n bass and beats. Based in San Francisco, Caldwell has released over 30 records on labels like Om, Naked and Inspirit as well as mixing Jam Recordings recent Hemmesphere 4 album. Other international acts on the bill for GV 2006 include Bahamadia, James Brown (Godfather of Soul), The Cuban Bros (10 Piece), Datarock, DJ Marky feat. Stamina MC, Dusted London, Estelle, Talib Kweli, Lady Kier, Malente, Nextmen, Norman Jay MBE, Switch, and Z-Trip. Australian artists playing on the tour include Katalyst & RU C.L, Mark Dynamix, Groove Terminator and Sneaky Sound System. Tickets are now of sale for the GV event in your city.
