Where Mariah Carey, the Gorillaz Featuring De La Soul, Green Day, Gwen Stefani and Kanye West are jostling for the 'Record of the Year' in the 48th Annual Grammy Awards announced last night there have been some great nominations representing the Dance related categories.
Sure the Grammys will always be a very top-line relatively poor representation of the electronic music industry but you can't help but support the artists nominated in this years results.
Included is the best Dance Recording is the Chems incredible Galvaize that put them straight back into the charts after some time out. Deep Dish with Say Hello, LCD Soundsystem's Daft Punk Is Playing At My House... My House, some of the latest from Fatboy Slim and New Order and Kylie who should really be put back into the pop category. The Best Dance Album category follows closely with the previews mentions and outside of this you’ll find a few of top dance producers like Lu Cont credited in the Best Non-Classical Remixed Recording.
