  • Now in its second year, the Carl Cox Global radio show, is, in true 'global' fashion, continuing to pull in listeners around the world; over one million people now estimated to tune into the 2-hour show every weekend. Global, which you can listen to online at www.carlcox.com or on any number of syndicated stations including Holland's Radio 538, Argentina's Metro or Turkey's Dinamo FM plus others in France, the US, Japan, Dubai, Macedonia, Romania, Ukraine and Lebanon, is a reflection of the wide range of electronica typically heard in Carl's sets, with an emphasis on cutting edge house and techno. The first half of the show consists of Global Warmer, Carl’s favourite tune of the week, the Global Lowdown, music from one of his favourite labels and Global Alliance - a 30 minute guest DJ set that has previously seen the likes of Fatboy Slim, Todd Terry, Laurent Garnier, X-Press 2 and DJ Vibe in the mix. The second hour Going Global features one of Carl's live sets and has in the past included mixes recorded live at Ultra Music Festival, Space Ibiza, SW4 & the Cannes Film Festival. In other Carl Cox news, this month also sees the start of a new series called Intec Rocks on his record label Intec. The first release will be "Kasablanka" from Japanese producer Hiroki Esashika, whose track "Kazane" has been a big tune for Carl all year, while the B-side will come from DJ Hal in the form of "Moral Panic". In December, Intec will also release "The Best of British EP" from promising 25 year old producer Allan Banford. You can listen to the past four Carl Cox Global Shows and find out the latest release information on Carl's Intec and 23rd Century labels at his website.
