  • Ben Watt's award-winning imprint Buzzin' Fly will round off another strong year by accepting the invitation to host the New Year's Eve celebrations at The End in central London on December 31st. The label has enjoyed success at the venue already this year with their Summer & Autumn events attracting a huge crowd. The label had a great 2004, and has continued its fine run of form over the past 12 months with a string of releases. Watt dropped his own Buzzin' Fly Vol 2 mix CD as well as his speak-song crossover number 'Pop A Cap In Yo' Ass' featuring Estelle, Rodamaal's acid-Latin 'Insomnia'. San Fran wonderkid Justin Martin joined the fray with two bullets, whilst Manoo and Francois A's autumnal sleeper hit, 'Traffic', have helped propel the label to the forefront of the UK house scene. The music on the night will again showcase Buzzin' Fly friends and core artists from the roster. Ben Watt lines-up in the main room with a 4 hour set (incl Midnight). He will be preceded by long-time resident Chris Woodward and followed by France's DJ Rocco (Rodamaal). The lounge will ooze BF flavour with house legend Charles Webster (Love From San Francisco / Peacefrog / Remote) and stable-mates Atjazz and Paul Wain for sounds from his own eclectic left-field imprint, Miso Records. Upstairs, AKA will be in control of serial good timers Sancho Panza, who alongside their famous open-air sessions each year at the Notting Hill Carnival are regular residents in AKA for 'All Night Long'.
