- Andy Caldwell is undertaking an Australian tour in conjunction with the release of his new compilation "Late Night With Andy Caldwell" for new US label Swank Recordings.
American DJ Andy Caldwell hails from the Bay Area and has been around the music scene for over ten years, producing and DJing. He has had many tracks released on the respected OM Records label as well as Naked Music, Yoshitoshi and his own Uno Recordings. He's also done remixes including the Grammy nominated track "Safe From Harm" by Narcotic Thrust and "Never Felt this Way" by Hani featured on Deep Dish's Toronto mix for Global Underground
Andy has also turn his signature production style to work for the film and television industries. He has composed music for films such as Forces of Nature and Skulls, as well as popular television series Six Feet Under, Boston Public, and Chromium Blue.
Andy's Australian tour in September and October (dates below) coincides with the release of his new compilation CD, Late Night With Andy Caldwell, the first in a series from new US label Swank Recordings. The CD mixes San Francisco warm soul stirring tones, Chicago pulsating jazzy house bounce, Detroit futuristic techno funk, West London rudeboy swagger and German minimal tech house washes together.
