- Ashley, Rocky and Diesel will be giving it everything they've got at Viva this Thursday at Space Ibiza.
The first of the closing parties in Ibiza kicks off next week but Steve Lawler's Viva residency on Thursday nights at Space is still squarely focused on bringing in the headliners with X Press 2 set to join Lawler this Thursday, September 8th.
X Press 2, whose new single 'Give It' (featuring Kurt Wagner from Lambchop on vocals) will be released on Skint on September 22nd, will play a 2-hour set playing their favourite balearic cuts at Space. 'Give It', the long-awaited follow-up to 2002's 'Lazy' is currently Tune of the Week on BBC Radio and looks set to be another crossover hit for the trio.
X Press 2's energetic six-deck sets with Ashley Beedle on the mic are always nothing short of inspirational. Their 2-hour slot on the terrace should also provide some insight into their new album, which is expected to drop in January 2006.
The Viva Closing Party takes place next Thursday on September 15th featuring an as yet unannounced special guest, Audiofly, Pete Gooding and more.
