- The next installment of Bargrooves In Manhattan will be released this September through Ultra Records.
Ultra Records, successful on a number of levels within the dance music industry has again discovered a release which it will channel through the usual avenues and it expects will go on to big things. ‘Bargrooves in Manhattan’, which Ultra has licensed exclusively for North America through Seamless Recordings (Who began the series in 200) will see the blossoming reputation of London lad Ben Sowton, joined by Big Apple residents Mateo & Matos to release an album full of NYC attitude and fresh house cuts.
Ben pays his dues to favourite producers Jay-J, Richard Earnshaw, Grant Nelson and Physics, whilst also including include two of Seamless Recordings’ own works, namely the Souldoubt mix of Soularis’ ‘Freeway’ and Ross Couch’s ‘I See You.’ Taking inspiration from the dancefloors of Manhattan such as Cielo and Bungalow 8, experienced Big Apple producers Mateo & Matos have been chosen to provide the guest mix.
