- In a strange pairing Xbox and Green Velvet get together as Green Velvet does a live show in Liverpool to promote his new LP 'Walk In Love'.
Gaming honchos, Xbox present a rare treat for Liverpool’s clubbing scene with Green Velvet aka Cajmere, with an exclusive LIVE show at weekly club night Voodoo at Carling Academy Liverpool on Sunday 11 June. Voodoo is Liverpool’s legendary club night that started in April 1993. Its underground sounds feature techno, house, electronic and premier resident DJs and special guests.
Green Velvet is a legendary house music producer and best known for the massive dance floor smash, ‘La La Land.’ His darker, more instrumental tracks are spun out of Relief Records, the label he set up for his wig-wearing-alter-ego, Green Velvet. His new LP 'Walk In Love' on Relief Records out on June 14.
Also supporting on the night are Steve Shiels (3 hour warm up set),
