  • Hot on the heels of Chicken Lips’ ‘Clicks, Acid ‘n’ Disco’, the latest TrusttheDJ release sees Mark Rae producer an ‘Ode To A Dying DJ’. Encompassing Mark’s usual vast array of styles including dancehall, hip-hop, breaks, soul and funk the boos of Grand Central records has built a reputation through an extensive solo career and as one half of Rae & Christian. This mix has been inspired by Jamaica, which according to Mark has a special place in his heart:
“…It’s the most musically entrenched place on the planet…dancehall really is the most exciting form of electronic music at the moment. As you will hear, it references sounds more akin to techno and house but with a far freakier groove”
