- Defected boss Simon Dunmore steps up to the plate for the 14th in the 'In The House' series.
Defected are already up to number 14 in their popular ‘In The House’ series and fittingly its label boss Simon Dunmore who has stepped up to the plate to for a triple CD package entitled ‘Eivissa 05’. The triple format allows the man associated so deeply with the music and day to day running of the London based label to dive from CD1’s journey of deep and uptempo Balearic grooves, to CD2’s peaktime party cuts alongside more funky numbers and CD3’s limited edition ‘Deep, Down & Discofied’ bonus CD with an exclusive classic funk, soul and disco mix.
When asked what makes this compilation so special, Simon says: “This compilation is certainly not about being all up-front, it is a well balanced, with elements of soul, jazz and funk throughout. All the important qualities dance music should have”. The album is out this June, perfectly in time for a busy Ibiza season, in which Defected will again have a strong presence with a series of high profile parties at Pacha.
