  • Serbia's 2005 Exit Festival adds some beef by enlisting some big live names. Joining the listing of great electronic / dance acts performing are the White Stripes and Ian Brown. Exit Festival is looking like it will sell out again this year, with an estimated 55,000 people at the impressive Petrovaradin Fortress on each of the 4 days. The artists confirmed for each of the days has been growing over the past few weeks with some top quality booking. An overview for each of the days currently looks like so. THURSDAY 7TH: Underworld, Dave Clarke, 2 Many DJs, Freq Nasty Video Experience, Felix Da Housecat, Joris Voorn (Live), Glimmer Twins, Filthy Dukes, Apocolyptica FRIDAY 8TH: Ian Brown, Carl Cox and his friends... Michel De Hey, Valentino Kanzyani, Marco Nastic, DJ Preach and Vladimir Acic. SATURDAY 9TH: Sasha, Lee Burridge, Infusion (Live), Fatboy Slim, Evil9 (Live), Dee Face, DJ Marky & Patife. SUNDAY 10TH: Danny Howells, White Stripes, Sandy Rivera, Tom Stephan aka Superchumbo and Mutiny (PA). This doesn't include Nitin Sawney, Grandmaster Flash, The Datsuns and Gilles Peterson among the numerous other artists confirmed. The mighty BBC is also involved with Annie Nightingale in with a slot - let's hope to see some quality live radio broadcasts over the course of the festival. Full line-ups for each day will be released on May 15. So check your diary and pick up some flights already. The 2005 Exit Festival will worth visiting especially for those of you that are very much over the annual English festivals.
