  • Turning one is big achievement in any promoters life so big congratulations are in order to Platform 12 who have sold out their 1st Birthday Party. Setting sail for the first time in 2005, residents Clive Morley & Ladykilla welcome on board the Stanton Warriors to Platform 12’s 1st Birthday Boat Party, Saturday 12 March. After 3 monumentally successful parties in 2004, Platform 12 is setting up-anchor once again for their first super-fresh breakbeat boat party of the year. The event, which saw Krafty Kuts and The Freestylers appear last summer, is widely regarded as one of the best small clubbing nights in London. In celebration of 1 year strong, Platform 12 have asked along their friends the Stanton Warriors, Paul Arnold and MC Xander to help push the boat out! Tickets to this event are now as rare as gold dust, so you might have to beg, borrow or steal your mate's tickets if you're keen to get along, but for those keen to keep on partying once the boat has docked though, rest assured that the Platform 12 crew aren't one to end a party prematurely. They've hired out a warehouse-style club not far from Tower Pier (where the boat departs / arrives) and aim to carry on the party right through until the next day with more heavyweight DJ action and a rare 4 decks, effects and vocals set from Clive Morley, Ladykilla and MC Xander combined. The Warehouse after party is from 2am – 7am @ a secret London location. Tickets (On the door): £3 (with boat party flyer / ticket), £7 without. DJs: The Stanton Warriors, Clive Morley feat. Ladykilla & MC Xander, Pete Jordan (Spectrum), Special guest TBC.
