The quirky jacking funk that is often found in clubs on the European mainland has been making a quality and most welcome appearance on a monthly basis at London club ‘Egg’. Under the Umbrella of Playtime this is one of London’s best parties and their March installment looks to create a similar vibe with Paris DJ David Duriez and recent Excession signing Paolo Mojo.
David Duriez, is the man behind blippy label Brique Rouge and his newer jackin' electro label Freak'n'Chic. He will be joined by rising star Mojo and Wandy, one of the founders of Chibuku Shake Shake. Add into the mix Kinky Vinyl and Whoop! Label boss Joel Xavier, taking over the slot of resident Mike Monday who is in Sydney doing a few gigs.
