  • Godskitchen, the Birmingham based clubbing super-brand that exploded out of the mid 90’s clubbing phenomenon is returning to its roots with a retrospective classic mix. Having spawned it’s own festival, one off arena events, nation and worldwide tours, Godskitchen have had a big influence on many punters. Focusing one CD on Trance, Hard dance and House the album offers a collection of classic records that have rocked the Godskitchen dance floors and many commercial radio stations. CD1 ‘Trance’ sees massive club (and chart!) hits such as BBE’s ‘Seven Days And One Week’ rub shoulders with Energy 52 ‘Café Del Mar’, Tiësto ‘Sparkles’, PVD ‘Alive and Delerium’s ‘Silence’. CD2 ‘Hard Dance’ has such crackers as Mauro Picotto’s ‘Lizard’ Marco V’s ‘Indicator’ Camisra’s ‘Let Me Show You’ and Lisa Lashes’ ‘We Came We Saw’ all jostling to out do each other on the BPM’s front. Slowing things CD3 ‘House’ features Spiller’s ‘Groovejet’, Jaydee ‘Plastic Dreams’, Golden Girls ‘Kinetic’, Ruffneck’s ‘Everybody Be Somebody’ and Stardust’s chart topping ‘Music Sounds Better With You’. ‘Godskitchen Classics’ will feature a full commentary on who played what and when, adding to the retrospective nature of this release. It will out on Virgin EMI.
