Two skillful exponents of the Drum and Bass art form Mickey Finn and Nicky Blackmarket have put together a Jungle Drum N Bass Anthems CD to be released on Virgin/EMI. Going back 2 back in the mix the duo will return to the jungle rhythms with classics such as Q Projects’ ‘Champion Sound’, Adam F’s ‘Circles’, Alex Reece’s jazz-tastic ‘Pulp Fiction’ and Roni Size with his sub bass-bending anthem ‘It’s Jazzy’ all just on CD 1.
The second disc delves even deeper into the album draw to include Shy FX’s bongo-tastic ‘Bambaata’, DJ SS’s piano anthem ‘The Lighter’ and even ‘Dubplate’ by Wot’s My Code and Ray Keiths’. In a strictly underground culture this is a rare oppourtunity to hear many albums that have helped shape the scene.
