Reduced price for Telephunk tickets

- Since the sad news that Miss Kittin would not be playing an encore set at Telephunk 3.0 there are a few more announcements about the forthcoming party. Firstly, the ticket price for the event has now been reduced to $25+BF. Ticket numbers have been recorded for those who have already paid the original price of $35+BF and they will recieve a $10 refund at the door. Secondly, an extra international to replace Miss Kittin could not be found, so instead Carl Finlow will be able to grace us with his much loved Silicon Scally and Il.ek.tro sounds as well as his proposed Random Factor Set. Hardware have also added a very special local live act to the lineup, Mink Engine. Mink Engine is the audiovisual product of Askii and Touch Me Tiger, a couple of cult figures in sonix and grafix. While Touch Me Tiger sprays her inimitable blend of illustration and animation across the screen, Askii pushes peoples buttons with his electro-rock beats and delicious melodies. Telephunk 3.0 is on Friday 21 January at the Prince of Wales, St Kilda, Melbourne. The full lineup for the party will feature Random Factor/Silicon Scally/Il.ek.tro aka Carl Finlow (FRA), Paul Davies (UK), Mink Engine LIVE, Dave Pham, Glitch, Quirk and Toupee. Doors open from 10pm.
