  • Mr C's electro influenced house bi-monthly Saturday ‘Superfreak’ residency returns on Saturday 30th October at The End as Mr C & Francis Harris (Sycophant Slags) will be joined by a host of talented guests. Steve Bug (Poker Flat), Damian Lazarus (Cross Town Rebels), and Kiki (Bpitch Control), are set to jointly headline the evening which will see a wide spectrum of sounds on aural display. Steve Bug, head of the Poker Flat label, is well known for his work in the studio and as a DJ, whilst Damian Lazarus, is the A&R genius who rose to fame with the City Rockers label that galvanised electroclash. He is now heading new label Crosstown Rebels, and arrives at The End after a very busy 12 months which has seen him in huge demand, pushing the clash sound. Kiki, one of Finland's most talented new techno artists, of German label Bpitch Control, who will also be bringing his expertise to The End's decks. Mr C, the ringmaster for the evening has kept himself busy of late working in the studio and has several new releases coming up this autumn including remixes of the Nils Hess tune 'Circling The Sun' on Eukahouse, and two collaborations on Sexonwax records, 'Digital Love' with Francis Harris under their Sycophant Slags moniker, plus 'That Look' with 16B. After his set at The End, watch out for the video to 'Digital Love' too! Meanwhile his latest release on End Recordings, 'You're A Freak', is the vinyl embodiment of Superfreak. Away from the main room, you can be swayed by the London Xpress DJs in AKA, as the Nuphonic house label takes control of the main room.
