The aptly named DJ Storm has been causing havoc within drum and bass for over ten years now. She is one of the founding sisters of the prolific Metalheadz label, and manifested a style that is craved by punters from around the globe and envied by many dj's. Storm is first and foremost a dj. She does not make tunes and tour the globe as promo for her latest album, Storm is one of the last of the rare breed of dj's that redefines dj'ing and establishes a new attitude every time she plays. Why the lesson? Because Storm is coming to town again with her much admired sidekick MC Rage!
On Saturday 2 October, DJ Storm and MC Rage will be the headliners of 40 Hz, alongside the 40Hz heavyweights Rux, Lex, Fiend, Dust and MC Wasp. There will also be visuals by Devoloid Media. The party takes place from 10pm at the 'Hi-Fi Bar & Ballroom' on Swanston St. Melbourne, and yes.... the the Funktion 1 Soundsystem will be in place to deliver the BASS!
