The more mainstream exposure for dance music the better. The popularity of dance music, although used by many advertisers to increase the popularity of their product to the 18-35 demographic, isn’t really represented in today’s free to air TV programming schedules, but in an encouraging sign UK TV station ITV1 has commissioned a fourth series of Mixmasters.
Mixmasters, the TV program based solely on dance music produced by Addictive TV has had a steady following and featured guests including Mathew Dear, Derrick Carter and Lost In Space. The new series will be on at 3AM on Fridays throughout September and December.
