Godskitchen are to release a CD to push the promotion for their upcoming Global Gathering festival on July 31 in the UK. This triple pack CD will feature a selection of styles from three of the arenas hosted at the event.
CD 1 is true to the Godskitchen and trance sounds that have made them famous. Tiesto, Armin, PVD and Ferry Corsten, the four leaders in the trance genre all feature. Add to this a production touch from the 4 Strings, Three Drives, Pulser, Thrillseekers, Filterheadz, Above & Beyond, J00F, M.I.K.E. and Marco V and well, you've got pretty much all the big trance heads checked off the list.
CD 2 hosts the sounds of Babooshka - sexy deep house. And again - loads of the big names with some great tracks, Morillo, Junior Jack, The Shapeshifters, Richard F, MYNC Project, Armand Van Helden's latest and more.
CD 3 covers the sounds of the Global Gatherings Air Arena. Aiming to push the freshest of fresh beats at the moment is this last disc. Compiled and Mixed by the talented Fabric resident Ali B, the CD covers a variety of genres with a focus on breaks. The Plump DJs, Tayo, Chicken Lips, Adam Freeland, Hybrid, Rennie Pilgrim and Freestylers all feature.
The CD (released by Virgin/EMI) is set to hit UK stores in the week leading up to the festival on July 26. It is definitely a great mixture of tunes not only for the drive up, but the cruise back in the wee hours.
