  • Tonight (June 17), after England aim to regain some much needed strength vs Switzerland in the Euro2004, you will hopefully be celebrating the result and if you're up for an interesting audio/visual experience we may have found just the after party you were looking for. The Remix residency at Cargo London will be hosting special performance by the FreQ known for his insanely overgrown dreads. Freq Nasty will be dishing out a 'Video Nasty Experience' set, which he sums up as "...the visual equivalent of Michael More and Public Enemy getting pissed on the set of Monsters Inc. during an anti-globalisation riot. This is going to be a truly innovative live experience.". He will be armed with decks, FX, live MCs and a multi-screen VJ show featuring a visual collaboration that is set to include Jamie Hewlitt’s Zombie Flesh Eaters, the Brothers Mogg from Weta Digital (the NZ crew who animated Gollum in the LOTR trilogy), art director Cindy Lee and a host of other cutting edge Graphics and text heads twisting up shit to create a new format for these troubled times. Joining Freq (who's on at 10.30pm) are The Infadels (the new signing on the Wall of Sound label who will also playing live) and Xfm host Eddie Temple Morris as well as The Loose Cannons who will both be on decks.
