After a successful Grime night at The End in April, Eat Your Own Ears, Rephlex and The End are set to host a second night of ‘Grime and Braindance’ this Friday June 18th.
Expect dance-floor friendly breakbeat, Grime, dub & 2step in the Grime room, courtesy of Kode 9, Darqwan, Digital Mystikz and Loefah. Meanwhile Aleksi Perala (aka Ovuca / Astrobotnia), Marco D'Arcangelo, Cylob, DMX Krew, and DJ Rephlex Records will be pumping out sets of AFX-esque electronica in the Braindance room.
Drums are the order of the evening on a night which will see some of the best underground talents shaking the walls of The end with ragga, dirty electro, driving basslines and disco dance. It all sounds like a lot, but if the last party is anything to go by, all spectrums of the soundscape are sure to be sampled. floor stormers... with the odd injection of stunning electronic soundscapes and lush cracked melodies thrown in for good measure.
