  • This Saturday June 12 Rainer Trüby (Germany) will drop into Sydney as part of his four date Australian tour to play at The Basement. Rainer Trüby is the international champion of the soulful dancefloor, and the flagship DJ and producer (aka Trüby Trio) for Compost Records. He is one of Europes leading tastemakers and has earned massive respect from audiences all over the world. This tour marks his first visit to Australia, so expect new sounds for your ears and a musical journey crossing boundaries between future jazz, broken beats, deep house, brazil, disco, drum & bass, boogie, detroit techno and more. The event will run over two rooms and Rainer will be supported by locals Nathan McLay, Somatik, Trevor Parkee, Lippo, Clive Smith, Tim Sea and musicians ­Stu Hunter on rhodes and synths and Arne Hanna brings the dirty funk guitar.
