  • VICE Records artist ‘The Streets’, the UK garage hip-hop artist Mike Skinner, had a stunning breakout this past year with his debut album ‘Original Pirate Material’, which sold over 100,000 copies and was Entertainment Weekly's #1 album of the year and Rolling Stone magazine's debut artist of the year. Now he is set to end the year, as it started with another landmark. The Streets are going to release a new mini-album of previously unreleased tracks and remixes available exclusively to on-line consumers via paid downloads from the industry's leading on-line retailers on October 14, 2003. Titled 'All Got Our Runnins', highlights the two sides of Mike Skinner: at once introspective (the lonely 'Streets Score' and desperate 'All Got Our Runnins') and debaucherous (the live favorite 'Give Me Back My Lighter'). The release also includes remixes from house producer Ashley Beedle, jungle artist High Contrast, and two-step garage crew Roll Deep. The track listing is as follows: All Got Our Runnins Tracklisting 1 Streets Score (instrumental) 2 Give Me Back My Lighter 3 All Got Our Runnins 4 Let's Push Things Forward (The Streets Remix feat. Roll Deep) 5 Don't Mug Yourself (Mr. Figit remix) 6 Weak Become Heroes (Ashley Beedle's Love Bug Vocal) 7 It's Come To This (The Streets vs. High Contrast) 8 Streets Score Mike Skinner is currently putting finishing touches on the follow-up to ‘Original Pirate Material’ which should be out early 2004 on Vice Records.
