  • Erica Synths has released a new effects unit called the Fusionbox. The new product is inspired by the company's Fusion Delay & Chorus Eurorack module. It uses two bucket brigade delay chips and a vacuum tube to create various delay and flanger effects. Tube overdrive can overheat the signal between the delay output and its feedback path for a denser sound, while a passive lowpass filter is on board to control tone and sub bass frequencies. Adjustable input gain means it can be used with everything from modular synths to guitars. It also produces a stereo ensemble effect found in vintage synthesisers whereby the processed sound is added with the original dry mono signal with inverted phase in one channel and direct phase in the other, creating a distinct morphing character. A modulation source and a dry/wet control are also on board. Watch a demo of the Fusionbox.
