  • Raster-Noton will celebrate two decades of existence with a free exhibition at the ZKM gallery in Karlsruhe on March 11th. The exhibition focuses on the White Circle, an "acoustic-architectural space designed as an audiovisual installation," and a 47-speaker array controlled by a piece of software called Zirkonium. Alva Noto, Kangding Ray, Byetone and Frank Bretschneider have composed works especially for the site. Further performances from Kyoka, Bretschneider and Kangding Ray will happen after the main exhibition on the multichannel 4DSOUND system. The installation is set to be presented around the globe as part of ZKM's Globale festival.
