  • Ian McDonnell, AKA Eomac, is collaborating with Laura Kilty under the name noeverything. McDonnell is known for an unpredictable brand of broken beat techno that he's produced alone as Eomac and alongside Dara Smith as Lakker—two pursuits that have led to releases on labels like R&S, Killekill, Stroboscopic Artefacts and Inner Surface Music. noeverything sees him pairing with fellow Dubliner Kilty, a singer, composer and yoga instructor whose work focuses on psychoacoustics and the healing powers of sound. The duo's first release is a four-track digital EP called I AM. Inspired by "electronic club music, avant-garde pop such as The Knife and artists like Björk and PJ Harvey," it "[deals] with themes of light and dark, overcoming struggles and the quest for balance," according to a press release.
