  • Mumdance will play seven dates in Canada, the US and Mexico in March. Mumdance, real name Jack Adams, is known as a prolific presence operating on the fringes of grime and UK bass. His recent efforts—like the debut release from his collaborative project, The Sprawl—swing towards ambient and noise. Both sides of his personality came across on his mix CD for the Fabriclive series, which dropped in March of last year. Adams will cross the pond for a series of North American dates in March, starting with a March 9th gig at Q Nightclub in Seattle. Next up is Calgary and Brooklyn, where he'll be joined by the likeminded producer Rabit, as well as Mexican Jihad from the NAAFI collective. Then it's Mexico City for Festival NRMAL, where he's also booked at an afterparty on the same night. He'll wrap up the trip with a couple of dates alongside Rabit: Austin for SXSW followed by a gig at the newly opened Union in LA. Last May, Adams spoke with RA's editor, Ryan Keeling, as part of our Exchange podcast series. Listen to it below.
