The Minilogue man will play five US gigs and one in Canada, starting with Miami this Friday.
Swedish purveyor of expansive techno Sebastian Mullaert, AKA Minilogue, is about to embark on a six-stop North America tour.
While working on other projects like WaWuWe, Mullaert nowadays keeps Minilogue—formerly a collaboration with Marcus Henriksson, before the two producers parted ways two years ago—as his own alias. This will be his first solo tour of the continent, and only the second involving the Minilogue name. (Mullaert and Henriksson played some US and Canada dates back in 2014 before their split.)
The journey begins in Miami this Friday, where Mullaert is billed with another well-loved live act, Guti, for LinkMiami Rebels at Trade. Brooklyn's Good Room, for a Blkmarket Membership party also featuring DJ Three, and Denver's Beta, follow over the next two evenings.
Thursday, February 4th sees a stop in Chicago for School Nights at Smart Bar. DC spot Flash hosts Mullaert the next night (DJ Three is on the lineup for this one, as well), before the tour finishes on Saturday the 6th by way of Montreal's StereoBar.
Mullaert this week revealed that he's now set with a US visa for three years—so those missing out on this tour can expect more stateside gigs further down the line.
Tickets to the parties in Miami, Brooklyn and DC are available on RA.
