- The Dutch festival has revealed the lineup for its 16th edition, taking place this June.
- The 16th edition of Awakenings will happen at Spaarnwoude Houtrak on June 25th and 26th. The annual festival is one of the biggest events on the European techno calendar. (In 2015 the Dutch outfit went stateside, hosting a stage at Electric Zoo in New York City.) This year more than 100 artists will play across eight stages, which includes two open-air arenas. The DJ bill features the likes of Sven Väth, Job Jobse, Loco Dice, Ricardo Villalobos, Maceo Plex, Marcel Dettmann, Adam Beyer, Apollonia, Marco Carola, Ben Klock, Bicep, Jackmaster, Maya Jane Coles, Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz, DVS1, Oscar Mulero, Rødhåd and Speedy J, while Henrik Schwarz, Recondite, KiNK, Vril and Voices From The Lake will perform live.
