  • L.E.V. Festival will celebrate its tenth edition later this year, running from April 28th through May 1st in Gijon, northern Spain. L.E.V. stands for Laboratorio de Electrónica Visual, or Visual Electronic Laboratory in English. It's one of Spain's leading experimental and audiovisual events, inviting local and international acts to perform at various spaces within Gijon's Laboral City Of Culture and Botanic Gardens. Seven artists make up the first announcement for 2016, with slots for To Rococo Rot's Robert Lippok, Japanese ambient producer Ametsub, Montreal-born composer Myriam Bleau and Robert Henke as Monolake, who returns to L.E.V. for the first time since 2008. He'll present a Surround live show "full of unreleased material, some of it especially designed for the anniversary." More names will be added in the coming months.
