  • Red Rack'em will start a new label, Nettles, in May. Set up as an offshoot of Bergerac, the label Daniel Berman has been running since 2010, Nettles will be vinyl-only, with a music policy that spans "super funky disco, cracked-out electro, monster boogie and super deep house," according to the Berlin-based Brit. He'll inaugurate the label with the Bill George EP in May, followed by 12-inches from Inxxxwel in June, Leandre in September and Berman again in November. Red Rack'Em's next release, though, will hit the shelves via Bergerac, with Wonky Bassline Disco Banger due out in early March. That'll be his first outing on the label since 2012's If Only The Past EP. He's also started work on a new album, slated for an Autumn release via Bergerac. More details on that one will follow later in the year. Also in 2016, Berman's third label, Smugglers Inn, will put out two compilation EPs in April and November, featuring music from Nubian Mindz, AD Bourke and Tommy Rawson among others.
