- The Haka three-tracker has Bas Mooy turning in a remix.
Scalameriya and VSK are collaborating again, this time for an EP on Perc Trax called Haka.
The two techno artists, hailing from Serbia and Italy, respectively, have become steadily prolific over the past five years with their own production and label work. Scalameriya runs the Genesa Records imprint, while VSK is a co-founder of Consumer Recreation Service Recordings. Haka, which lands in late February, is their second collaborative effort, following last October's Codex EP for Power Vacuum.
A press release says Perc himself has been putting Haka's title track to work in his sets "for a long time." The B-side features what's described as a more electro-leaning cut from the duo, "Cydonia," along with a "Haka" remix from Mord man Bas Mooy, who previously appeared on Perc Trax with a digital EP back in 2012.
