  • Blueprint's next Seasons Festival will go down in Vancouver from March 23rd through 27th. The large-scale promoter started the festival a few years ago as a multi-venue, multi-day event inspired by the Decibel festival model of club-hopping. With an emphasis on technology and interactive art as much as music, Seasons goes down across several different Vancouver nightclubs and venues across the week, in addition to a weekend-long arena show at the Pacific Coliseum. That part will feature sets from the likes of Porter Robinson, Odesza, Duke Dumont and Thomas Jack. The programming elsewhere throughout the week will be of more interest to underground dance music fans. Local record store and label Pacific Rhythm will host a three-day takeover of Open Studios that features Invisible City and Sadar Bahar along with a smattering of locals, including Pacific Rhythm boss DJ D.DEE, All Caps signee Florist, 1080p's RAMZi, a live set from Khotin and the debut of Friendly Chemist's new project Downtown Solutions. Veteran crew Nordic Trax will also have their own showcase, along with Hybridity and Monstercat. Other lineup highlights include Kevin Saunderson (along with his son Dantiez), SOPHIE, Nautiluss, Tennyson, Jay Tripwire, Max Ulis and Ekali.
